[A folded letter will be addressed and taped to his door, in really nice calligraphy ink.]

I apologize if it seems as though I've been avoiding you in this household. I am still rather shellshocked over this world, but for as long as I am to reside here I will do my best to hold my role as a 'parental' unit in this household. As I don't think we're too far in age, I won't treat you as an inferior or as someone who is younger than me, but I will make myself available as a mentor or comrade if ever needed. I honestly feel myself too young to be a father, therefore I do not ask of you to treat me as one at all. I will be more easily reachable to the household as well.
I hope this letter finds you well, - Masato Hijirikawa
[What a WEIRD LETTER to receive. Aone can't help but admire the neat handwriting and the wordiness of the letter.
Ah, but... wouldn't it just be easier to text? So that's how he responds.]
Thank you for the letter, Hijirikawa. I really don't expect you to act as a father, but I'd like to be friends. I don't have a very large number of friends here and I think it would be nice for the both of us. If you're not opposed to it, I mean.
[The text surprises him a little, but... He actually smiles a little when he reads it. Aww, he seems so nice.]
I'm not at all opposed to it. I hope we both can become good friends during our time here. I have trouble making friends easily, so please be patient with me if I seem cross.
Most certainly. I can't at all ask you to be patient without doing the same. We'll go at our own pace. I'm relieved to know we'll have such a smooth friendship from here.
[Friends!! Masato's going to happily cook them too much food for dinner lbr.]
You as well? I'm slowly growing accustomed to being dragged out and about by those who run on their own internal form of coffee but it's exhausting. I completely agree with you.
