[a plain pale blue looking envelope is placed in aone's mailbox around noon time! inside is a cute looking invitation. on the back of it there's a hand written message that says:
hey u guys!!!!!!!! so i was thinking we should do sth for daichisan since hes obviously RLY SAD that sugawara-sans gone im rly sad too i think we all are!!! so i asked rinsenpai if we could have the gym for a practice match and then like a lock in sleepover after!!!!!!!!! SO THIS IS UR INVITATION its gonna be tomorrow!!!!! and we can do it like we do training camp!! every1 working 2gether from diff teams to try and learn new skills!!!! DOESNT IT SOUND AWESOME write me back if u wanna try it!!!!!!!
[ On the 14th, Mikuni got a basket filled with slices of cheesecake. And of course he should offer his son a piece, right? So when he finds him, he offers him a smile. ]
[Aone blinks and stares at his 'father' for a few moments, considering the question. Does he? Well, yes... but he doesn't want to seem like the kind of guy who has a sweet tooth. So instead of nodding fervently like he wants to, he just shrugs.]
[The start of school means the start of regular afterschool practices again, and the start of seeing people around Altaciere again. Some are easier to spot than others. Datekou's ace should be the easiest to spot, and Daichi sees him at school, but then... not practice. And not around the sports center very much, either.
That's weird.
It's not exactly hard to find out where the huge, quiet volleyball player lives, so Daichi ducks out of practice early--wouldn't want to interrupt a family dinner or anything--and ends up on the porch of 1435.
[It doesn't take long for Aone to find his way to the door. He's really good about answering it, but usually expects it to be for one of the other people in the house. When he sees that it's the captain of Karasuno, though, he stops short and just stares at him.]
.....
[...apparently you're not getting words, just an intense stare. Sorry, Daichi.]
[Because the Orchid & Lotus keeps their staff so small, it's rare for there to be more than one person working at once, but Izumida doesn't considering it work so he tends to come by more often than he's scheduled. When he's here and not working (which is... always, he's really only helping out), he's in the greenhouse, and today is no exception.
He's also found, after blurting out his passion for bonsai to a clerk at the grocery store and spending ten minutes rhapsodizing about takoyaki's appeal to Yukihina-san's dragon (who seemed to care about as much as Yukihina-san would), that he's probably not fit to be around people right now. He didn't think the penalty would hit him this hard but he's practically overcome by the urge to talk. And talk. And talk.
At least it's good for the plants. Nobody else is listening, right?]
I almost wasn't going to go to Hakogaku, you know. My brother went there and he ended up being very successful, even if he wasn't a cyclist but then again he's never really been much of an athlete... but I didn't want to follow behind him if I could help it. Then it turned out Yuki was going there and I couldn't say no. I miss him a lot. It's hard here.
[While Aone has grown used to seeing this boy around, it does come off as sort of odd to find him chattering endlessly at the poor flowers. He stands in the doorway of the greenhouse, listening to him for a long time, before he finally says something.]
Why?
[Is this a 'why are you talking so much?' or a 'why' to any of the things he said? It's very unclear. Take it as you will, you chatterbox.]
[A pink cat has infiltrated Aone's house somehow. Maybe it's scratching at the front door, chasing its tail in circles, hissing at any other pokemon, or leaping between high places and knocking things over like skittles.
Either way, enjoy this tiny pink terror, Aone. Its owner is on his way.]
Edited (I FORGOT THE TITLE omgfg i'll make it one day) 2015-09-27 06:33 (UTC)
[A folded letter will be addressed and taped to his door, in really nice calligraphy ink.]
Aone-san -
I apologize if it seems as though I've been avoiding you in this household. I am still rather shellshocked over this world, but for as long as I am to reside here I will do my best to hold my role as a 'parental' unit in this household. As I don't think we're too far in age, I won't treat you as an inferior or as someone who is younger than me, but I will make myself available as a mentor or comrade if ever needed. I honestly feel myself too young to be a father, therefore I do not ask of you to treat me as one at all. I will be more easily reachable to the household as well.
I hope this letter finds you well, - Masato Hijirikawa
[What a WEIRD LETTER to receive. Aone can't help but admire the neat handwriting and the wordiness of the letter.
Ah, but... wouldn't it just be easier to text? So that's how he responds.]
Thank you for the letter, Hijirikawa. I really don't expect you to act as a father, but I'd like to be friends. I don't have a very large number of friends here and I think it would be nice for the both of us. If you're not opposed to it, I mean.
[on aone's doorstep will be a box. inside the box will be a wrapped up book. he told you he was gonna help you be more social. and this book is a great start towards that!!!
attached to the box is a note that simply says Merry Christmas -T. Oikawa]
[aone's gift will have a bow taped to its surface. it's a hard shape to wrap in paper anyway (and probably not good for it).]
Happy holidays, Aone! It's been great working with you, and I'm glad to have such a good person working with me at the shop. I think it's time for you to try your hand at a terrarium, don't you think? I know you can handle it, but if you ever have some questions, feel free to ask me them.
[ Merry Christmas, Aone! Imaizumi actually put forth effort into getting you a gift because he's your secret santa! While he doesn't know him that well, he at least knew enough to know that he played volleyball.
So, in his mailbox, there will be a blue bag along with some high quality kneepads that he had seen others use before. There is also a small card with a message that stated the following:
[In Aone's mailbox this morning, he'll find a plain white envelope with this invitation inside. Written over the flap is a short message: Honorary crows too! Hope to see you there, Aone.
Questions, comments, concerns? Daichi's phone is always on!]

Hello. I remember you, yes. You were very kind to me. Thank you for that. How are you doing? Is the world treating you well?
